00Overview

Patina is building the infrastructure layer for post-purchase commerce, turning every product into a connected, revenue-generating system.

Digital Product Passports are becoming mandatory for brands selling into the EU. Compliance is coming; most of the market is treating this as compliance. Patina sits above it, as the layer that turns that infrastructure into revenue, engagement, and long-term customer relationships.

  • 02Recognised by Vogue, Forbes, BoF, and global industry platforms
  • 03Founders speaking at Davos, UN Women, and leading fashion + technology forums
  • 0440+ brand projects and world-first activations using emerging technology
  • 05Direct access across brands, policy, media, and the wider fashion system
01Responsibilities

The role

We're hiring our first Sales & Partnerships Lead. You will be the person who builds the relationships that bring fashion brands onto the platform: partnerships with the wider ecosystem brands already work with, and direct onboarding of brands themselves.

This is a senior individual contributor role with broad scope. You'll set the partnership strategy, build the playbook from scratch, and report directly to the CEO.

02Responsibilities

What you'll do

Sell the licence and POC for the Patina, and design co-sell, referral, and integration partnerships that bring qualified fashion brands into the platform.

Own direct relationships with fashion brands, from first conversation through onboarding. SME and scale-up brands will be the day-to-day; enterprise brands enter through targeted, considered engagement.

Build and manage Patina's ecosystem partnership programme across consultancies, agencies, certifiers, sustainability platforms, infrastructure providers, and industry bodies.

Partner closely with Marketing and Content on demand generation, messaging, and brand-facing storytelling.

Document what works. Build the playbook that future hires inherit.

03Responsibilities

Build the AI-native sales engine

This is not a traditional sales operation. From day one, you will design and run a commercial system where AI does the heavy lifting on research, prospecting, drafting, follow-up, enrichment, and analytics: and you do the human work: relationships, judgement, negotiation, trust.

Architect the GTM tech stack: selecting and integrating the CRM, enrichment, signal monitoring, AI prospecting, conversation intelligence, and workflow automation layers. You own the stack end to end.

Replace cold outbound with signal-led motion: the system identifies the right brands and partners at the right moment (regulatory triggers, hiring signals, funding events, public commitments, product launches); you bring the conversation.

AI-assisted personalisation at scale: design workflows that produce one-to-one quality at one-to-many speed. Every outbound touch is contextual, considered, and grounded in real signal.

Conversation intelligence as a system, not a tool: every meeting captured, summarised, and fed back into the playbook, messaging, product roadmap, and team.

AI agents as part of the team: deploy and supervise AI agents for research, list-building, draft generation, and follow-up. You set the standards they operate to.

Data-led pipeline and forecasting: dashboards the CEO and board can read at a glance. Pipeline health, conversion velocity, partner contribution, and signal accuracy, measured continuously and acted on weekly.

Continuous evaluation: the AI sales landscape is moving fast. You stay ahead of it, test new approaches monthly, and keep Patina's stack at the front edge.

If you're excited by the idea of a one-person commercial team that operates like a five-person one because the system is doing the work: this is the job.

Package

Base salary: £60,000 to £80,000 depending on experience.

Commission: uncapped, structured against new revenue and partnership-sourced pipeline.

Working style: remote-first, with regular team gatherings across Europe. Travel budget for partner and brand meetings.

Reporting line: direct to CEO.

00What we're looking for
  • 01Partnerships and sales experience: you've built channel or partnership motions and closed direct deals. Early commercial hire somewhere, or owned partnerships at a fast-growing company.
  • 02Fashion industry fluency: you understand how brands actually operate: the buying calendar, the politics, the sustainability lead's headache. You don't need to have sold to fashion before, but you need to speak the language quickly.
  • 03Regulated or sustainability SaaS background: you've worked with a product where the buyer's motivation was driven by compliance or disclosure, not just appetite.
  • 04EU operator: you've worked across the UK and continental Europe. A second European language or a strong cross-border network is a real advantage.
  • 05AI-native operator: you already use AI tooling daily, have opinions on the modern GTM stack, and have built (or rebuilt) a sales workflow with AI at the centre.
  • 06Signal-driven, not list-driven: you understand the difference between buying a list and reading the market. You think in triggers, intent, and timing.
  • 07Self-directed builder: you write your own workflows, run your own conversations, and don't need a team behind you to make things happen.
  • 08Early-stage temperament: comfortable with ambiguity, change, and the pace of a small founder-led team.
00Must have
  • 01Existing relationships across the European fashion and sustainability ecosystem, a deep black book of contacts, and the confidence, charisma, and likability to open rooms.
00Nice to have
  • 01Experience selling into sustainability, digital, IT, or product transformation buyers.
  • 02Background in fashion tech, retail tech, supply chain, or sustainability tooling.
  • 03Hands-on experience with workflow automation, agent orchestration, or building custom GTM tooling.
