“The biggest mistake fashion can make is treating Digital Product Passports as a compliance exercise rather than a customer opportunity.”
About
Leanne Elliott-Young is Co-founder and CEO of PATINA, the post-purchase operating system for fashion and luxury brands, built on Digital Product Passports.
Described by Forbes as “a notable force leading what fashion will look like over the next decade”, she has spent more than 15 years turning emerging technology and culture into commercial growth for global brands. She won the Global Sustainability Leadership Award 2026 and has spoken at the World Economic Forum Annual Meeting in Davos and the TIME100 AI Leadership Forum.
In 2020 she co-founded IoDF, which delivered seven industry firsts across connected products, digital identity and consumer engagement for brands including H&M and Calvin Klein. In 2026, IoDF became PATINA, turning Digital Product Passports from a compliance requirement into infrastructure for authentication, care, repair, resale and lasting customer relationships.
Leanne previously worked in innovation at Nike Global Entertainment and in retail innovation at Selfridges, and has advised the UK Government and Saudi Arabia on AI and digital infrastructure. At PATINA she leads commercial strategy, partnerships and policy engagement.
